Learning to live a happier life

Every day now I wake up feeling happy, motivated and ready to take on the day ahead of me. Sometimes I might not feel 100% happy like the day before but that's ok. I try my best to over come it and feel more positive. Probably a few years ago I would wake up feeling quite negative towards everything , dread getting up in the morning. Since realising what makes me happy and what doesn't I have altered what I surround myself with.

Starting Arbonne
So I decided to start my own network marketing business and become an Independent consultant. I heard about Arbonne  a year and a half ago and since then I knew I wanted to start my own business but I kept talking myself out of it. I wouldn't stop thinking about it every morning and every night. It then came to a point on the 14th March I just decided to go for it  and take the plunge. Now here I am the happiest I have ever been, for me I was looking for something to fill that gap in my life. Even though I have only been doing this about 3 weeks it's the thing that excites me when I wake up in the morning. I can't wait to see where this journey is going to take me, I have met some amazing people so far and it has definitely changed my mindset and made me become the happier person I am today.

Surrounding myself with positive people
One of the most important things for me is to surround myself with people who will lift up my spirit, motivate me and encourage me. For years and years I would surround myself with people that would always try to bring me down and make me feel worthless and at this point in my life I thought this was normal and there was no way of getting away from these sorts of people.  I realised that I had to choose who and what I wanted to be surrounded by and I would say the point in my life when everything changed was when I go my heartbroken and I thought I lost everything ( you see how I emphasised the word thought, I didn't really lose everything that was just me being dramatic, hahhaha) and had to pick myself up. I knew from this point onwards I would go forwards as a uplifting, self-motivating women.

Forgiveness

Like most people in life I have had my heartbroken whether it was in relationships, friendships or family , and had been let down and all of that blah blah.... yes yes that's normal. But for me I started seeing a difference in myself and I was noticing I was changing as a person( for the better), I started to understand that by holding a grudge towards someone you maybe dislike, or they may of upset you, or for some reason you just dislike them because they liked your boyfriends Instagram photo, well this makes no one happy. Let me ask you this- by you hating someone or holding a grudge what does that really do to your mindset? Well it definitely makes you feel anger. What is the point? Life is way too short and there is way more important things to worry about in life like..... ' WHAT AM I GOING TO WEAR TOMMOROW'- hahaha no I am joking. Seriously though by you holding a grudge against someone just reflects back on you and doesn't make you look like a very nice person. Sometimes you just have to learn to let go, and yes it will take time, but when you can overcome that I am sure you will be so much happier than you were before.

Setting goals

This is what gets me through the week. If I don't have anything to work towards I will feel like I am not making the most of my day. I love to have a list of things I need to complete that week and will just tick them off when I have completed them. This definitely helps me feel motivated towards completing my goals and what I want to achieve whether its long term or short term. Make sure you set goals that motivate you and when you achieve them you feel happy , like you have made progress in creating a happier, healthy life.

Do what you love to do
I would have to say out of all of the this is the most important point!
For you to be happy in life you have to do what you want to do, don't be listening to the people that are trying to bring you down. If you have a dream in life you just need to go for it no matter how big or small. Never let anyone hold you back. If I didn't decide to stop caring what people think and just do what I want to do I would of never gone to stage school, I wouldn't be going to Greece for a few months and I definitely wouldn't of started my own business!!!! Make sure you do what you enjoy doing in life, make it worth living.
